Our Beliefs
- The Bible is the only true message from God and it was given entirely by Him. (2 Tim 3:16, 2 Peter 1:21)
- There is only one God, the Father, who made the world and has a great purpose for it. (1 Tim 2:5, Deuteronomy 6:4)
- The Holy Spirit is God's power, by which He works out His will. (Luke 1:35, Acts 10:38)
- Jesus is the Son of God. He is also the Son of man through being born of Mary. (Matthew 3:17, Galatians 4:4)
- Jesus overcame all temptation and died to save his followers from sin and death. (Hebrews 2:14, Romans 8:3)
- God raised Jesus from the dead. Later he ascended to heaven, but he will return again. (Acts 1:3.9, Mark 16:19)
- When he returns, he will raise the dead and give immortality to the faithful. (John 5:29, Daniel 12:1,2)
- He will be King over the future Kingdom of God on earth. (Luke 1:30-33, Isaiah 9:6,7)
- His faithful followers will help him to bring everlasting righteousness and peace worldwide. (Luke 22:29,30, Isaiah 32:17-18)
- The devil is not a supernatural being but is another name for sin, destroyed only in Christ. (James 1:13-15, Hebrews 2:14)
- Salvation involves covering from sin through Christ, and freedom from sin and death at his coming. (Romans 4:21-25, Hebrews 11:6)
- When a man dies he ceases to exist. The only hope of life is by resurrection at the coming of Christ. (Psalms 146:4, Ecclesiastes 9:5,6)
- Repentance, baptism into Christ by immersion in water and daily following of Christ are necessary for salvation. (Mark 16:16, Romans 6:3-5)
